Manifesto

My manifesto, “Imagination has no limit,” is produced in textile. Fabric has always been an outlet for creative expression of my identity through art, fashion and the environment. It gives me comfort, style and a design solution as a public declaration about my beliefs.

Fibers art and screen printing on fabric has influenced the way I think about digital illustration and the way the two mediums can overlap. I chose this solution because of my previous experience hand-dyeing, screen printing and sewing many yards of fabric. These processes informed my creative aesthetic after developing and perfecting hand-crafted techniques.

The technical application embellishes my personal energy that is ornate, risk-taking and confident. The result is clean and well-planned while also being experimental. “Imagination has no limit” is an abstraction of my daily life with simplified symbols of things that bring me joy in my busy schedule. It is paired with typography in a way to evoke being in the present moment when things overlap along the journey.
